I have to say something about the ignorance that I have been reading regards to COPS. No, I didn't sleep with her while she was with her ex. We were co-workers/friends. I never seen her outside of work until I helped her move out and back into her house she was renting out.

But if the guy has some serious issues this does not work. Crazy people do not get it, sometimes they understand when someone is crazier than them and if the guys thinks your more crazy than him he might decide it is not worth it any more.

You're right, he is looking to provoke a response out of you or the wife. Someone gave him advice to do what ever he can to provoke you into acting so he can show the courts it is not him but you and the wife that has the issue.

The problem you have is if he knows you are recording he probably smart enough not to do something, crazy smart that is.
