Will you go back to the BMW Roseville this time? I have a feeling that dealers in the central valley seem to carry cars/trucks with light colors, not much with darker colors. I guess the weather there is so hot, so people seem to prefer light colors. Just my guess.

What is towing capacity of X3 M50?

I am seeing mixed data, the US websites mention 2200 kgs, but some international websites are mentioning 2500 kgs.

Does BMW really differ in towing capacity across countries?

They definitely do as the hitch is different in Europe.

Spot on.

We use a tow bar in Europe, which is very different to the US tow hitch system.

Is it really open?
I got replied from a few dealers with not opened for order.
Or open time is different depends on the dealership?

No update on the configurator either
Kinda thirsty haha

"Open" like the pricing and buying guides are available with all the options visible, not actually orderable, though. Some dealers appear to be taking "orders" which are really just builds on paper that they'll put in the system when it actually opens.

Sounds like they are misinformed/misunderstood. The system is open for all dealers to enter orders into the order bank. They likely were referring to allocations although some dealers may not want to use the order bank at this time I guess.

The vehicle information report (VIR) is included in the first post of this thread. That's an actual order with status 047 (order bank)

I just need to see it to make it real.

BMW US version configurator is now live. Largest wheels shown are 21”.

Maybe the 22” wheels will be for the true M version, if there is one.

The 21 inch black wheels aren’t too bad, but I would have preferred the ones in the video and shown on the test tracks.

At least the Harman Kardon system can be picked as a standalone option and isn’t shoved into a package like the skyline roof. The small victories…

Should I order through only one dealership?
Does that mean I should deal before order with one dealership?
If I need to do it, I should make a deal with the build code which I have before do real order?

You want to shop your build around to multiple dealers or use a broker. Given the timing you likely will not get much of a discount but it is worth trying.

Honestly, if you don't already have a relationship with a dealer that you can leverage, it'd be very hard to get any discounts below MSRP for the first few months of the new gen. You'll probably have better luck waiting till the end of the year if you have flexibility.

If you want 22imch wheels best go Fully forged aftermarket.. if not, you’re gonna have freaking boat anchors, heaviest crap wheels. You go cast alloy good luck because they’re gonna be heavy and they’re going to crack under stress.
