My kid wrote a really good paper about Stacey Abrams a few months back. She ended it with this:

Seriously, I’ve admired Marie Curie since I first read about her in the 1960s. Others I learned about since include Catherine the Great, Cleopatra, and many others.
In my family I had a great aunt who became a doctor and practiced medicine in the 1930s and an aunt who became an attorney and practiced law from the 1950s through last decade. And others.

Since we are continuing this today. There are two ladies that I have a great admiration for.

For simply being a great overall person and a great mother to children, although they are not mine. My girlfriend. She has had a rough life from the start and has become a very well adjusted adult, a great mother and I'm proud of her. I've watched her grow significantly over the years and continue to watch her expand her horizons.

Also, I just happen to know another lady, that has struggled, lost and regained her ass, is one of the sweetest people I know and a great business woman. I'd also like to add a great gift giver, kind, considerate and the voice of reason to me on many days. I'll be somewhat vague here as not to draw too much attention. Laura, you're a great person and I admire the hell out of you.
