The women you saw in the M3s already had their pool boys (whom they are having affairs with) clean the blood and bits off. This is what I'm assuming your wife does which is why you never see the appendages yourself.

I don't like the new styling at all. I've seen a lot in person. There's a controversy brewing among MB folks about the styling esp the rear end. The main consensus is that it now looks 'too Japanese.'
I waited until I could see it before I bought my E63. And I decided on sticking with the last of the W211s and got the 2009 instead. I think the new one is not very classy nor is it radical. It's just sort of "there." I don't like the interior, either. It's too sharp edged for me (all angles and no curves.) But some of the new performance and tech stuff is welcomed. I'll wait for a few more years and see what happens. There may be an early facelift (or butt lift) on this one. |

I went to look at these Sunday.
E350 sedan looked decent but busy. Looks = 6.5 E350 coupe looked.....nasty. Dark blue with tan. Looks = 4 I was hoping to be thrilled in person but it seriously reminded me of an Accord coupe but uglier. I actually think the Honda is a decent design looks wise. It did not have the hockey stick shaped LED's. 2 round bulbs on each side. They made a real mess of an already cluttered, IMO, front. Very disappointed. |

I wouldn't mind getting it. My friends and family can use most of them can't drive stick. The looks will take a little getting used to, though; not sold on them yet.
Now to break people's hearts. From what I saw on a Porsche forum... the M3 isn't a sports car either... when they start tracking it they say it shows its sedan roots.

Start at ~$48,000+ base price for both the coupe and sedan.

I rather have a XFR over that E550 appliance. Mercedes aside of AMG has no differentiating appeal besides its brand name. It's not the prettiest inside or outside, not the best performance, not the most reliable, and not the best bang for the buck. People buy it from the name, badge and status symbol, which I dont consider important but hey I pass no judgement. |

Not to TJ but the XFR is sure getting alot of good ink. The interior was a bit cold to me but the overall balance for 80K is making news. Whodathunkit?

Yeah, and interesting the new ads in the New York Times that say "Jaguar reliability, whodathunkit?" They know their past history and now are advertising on the fact (I hope it's a fact) that reliability issues are a thing of the past.

^ No kidding. I guess the marketing guys/girls think like myself.
Have not seen the ads but the phrase fits. I know the car is worth 80K for all it has but it does not really make my hair stand up...looks wise. And I don't really get the hide away style a/c vent covers. |
