I like M3 as original. Maybe an exhaust to make better sound and some cosmetic parts to your own preference. Other than that, I don't see a point to add-up too much more power to ruin the perfect balanced factory setting.
I'd get the STi as the 2nd car. It's always good you get to switch between them.

The Evo X has one of the two trickiest AWD systems on the market (the other being Nissan's GT-R) but it's not suited for a DD. Horrible mileage.

How about you GTFO I've seen you make three stupid comments on three diffrent threads. No one give a shit about your nagative opinion.
OP , I like your current garage , but if I had a choice between SS and STI , I would go with a second car IMO.

Personally I would go for the second car. IMO if u already have exhaust and some cosmetic mods on the M then your set with it.
Now for the second car, hehe I always had a soft spot for the sound of the vw r32...it's really fun if u can find one in manual. The one I drove back in Europe was a black on black mk4 and it was just a funnnn car to drive |

DAMN! I wish I was trying to decide between a turbo and an STI!
Seriously though, I'm on the bandwagon with the STI (preferably EVO) choice. As many have said before, enjoy the m3 as it is or with a few mods. Get yourself a slightly used EVO and make a track car. That's what I'd do in your boat anyway! |

I'd go the second car route. I owned an 05 STi and I loved it, but I haven't been super impressed with the new ones. I sat in one at the autoshow, as well as a new WRX. They've taken a lot of body work from the STi and put it on the WRX, as well as upgraded the interior. I'd consider looking at the WRX as well as the STi. Another oddity is that the hatch version of the STi costs $2k more than the sedan version (apparently due to the fact you get BBS's with the hatch), whereas the WRX has no difference in price between the two. I personally like the hatch more. I'd test drive both of them, and probably an Evo. The Evo is the only one available with a DCT-like transmission, if that's important to you. I've never been super impressed with Mitsu reliability/ build quality, and that's why I went with a Subaru back in 05, but the performance gap between the two as of right now is evident (EVO > STi in almost every category).

I vote for buying the sti, however wouldnt you want your DD to be more comfortable to drive than your m3? i would much prefer to drive the m3 on a daily basis.
