You dont need top of the class to get into LS. If you're wanting to have fun, I would advise an SEC school. UF is one of the best party schools in the country, I'm at UT and I love it, also doing law.

I applied to UT but its hard to get into. UF is great but also a toss up for admissions. Im sure I dont need top of the class for law school but to go to a top tier one it takes some status in undergrad.

If you're OOS, UT(Tennessee not Texas) shouldn't be hard to get into with your credentials.

Out of state, schools are more accepting because they're butt raping you. It's in-state students that makes it hard to get in.

Thats true...especially at schools like Michigan. The instate kids get first dibs. Did you go to Tennessee?

Some overall college advice that will do you good that I always tell...

1. Make sure you know what you want to do when you get out; otherwise it will be tough especially with this economy and no one knows when it will get better.

2. Choose your major wisely and make sure it's employable (look at growth rates in particular field) and that you at least enjoy it some of the time.

3. Gain experience in said field / major in the form of internships and so forth.

4. Graduate with the least amount of debt; I stress this one very strongly.

Way ahead of you on one or 2 of those points. Im an intern for the State Attorney's Office. Im going to practice law, most likely with my father. Im majoring in business or political science depending on where I end up.

Very glad to hear that... sounds like you have a good bit figured out. So then focus on point #4 when choosing schools or at least make sure the more expensive schools pay off (with connections, a better job opportunity or connections). Good luck

The first year is the most crucial year, it's the easiest of the four, but the hardest of the four. You're away from home, you don't HAVE to go to class, so it's easy to turn the alarm off and rollover. Hold partying of until your second year, learn to be a GOP student before you learn to be a GOP student while holding asocial life.

Duly noted. Anything else? I always hear from older people that they wish they knew what they know now when they were my age.. Im trying to capture all of that stuff before my parents ship me off.

Meant "good student" lol stupid iPhone

Other than what I said before, all I can say is once you've became a good student and learned time management, live these next 4 years like they're your last. You only get this chance once, fill the story book up with as many outlandish drunken stories possible.

If you have any specific questions I can answer, other than that I'm blank.
