At this point i'm in the right lane. So I just let him pass no biggie, but as we approach an interchange to the 80 his lane slows down so I pass in my lane onto the other freeway. Next thing I see him fly past in the left lane and I realize this guy wants to race or is challenging me for some reason. He gets quite abit ahead of me in the left lane, I'm in the 2nd to right lane minding my own business as the traffic is congested. I get an opening and punch it- and I pass the Z4 like he was parked. I guess this pisses him off and he starts weaving thru traffic to get past me. He passes me again, this time i'm in the lane next to him because I have to exit the freeway on the left. When i get next to him I look over to see who this knucklehead is and the guy looks at me and is lauging! I"m like WTF you're an idiot and punch it again, exiting to another freeway and he either didn't exit or realized it was fruitless. It's experiences like this that make me embarrassed to drive a BMW, so many posers who don't know how to drive feel superior when they get these cars and drive like a**holes it's really annoying. If you're reading this board, you know who you are
At the time u signed that paper work at the dealership. YOu are agreeing to accept street racing with other people.. DOnt get pissed off with other people try to race against your car.. If you see an M5 or m6 or exotic car, you would probably do the same thing too.. By the way, u cutted him off first.. By cutting him off, you starting get other driver pissed off. DUde just accept the truth n fact

that's funny...I didn't see that line item in my lease
but I never cut the guy off. I went around him in the right lane. Never got directly on front of him. It's all good, maybe the guy was just trying to have fun - As KING of the ROAD, he should have bowed to me before passing, then it would have been Ok-

yep- I think it's some kind of magnet for people wanting to race. This is my first BMW coming from a modded G35 and no one ever tried to race me in that

I had a Volvo S60 pass me, cut me off, and weaving in and out of rush hour traffic today. And I was dumb enough not to pursue. That means he's much cooler and better than me

j/k

Maybe because rice boxes are not as fun to play with?

The 335 is the new "king of the road", so why not play and see what it really has? Unless the person driving it is all show and no go.

Wow guys it is pointless to talk to a man such as this....He doesn't "get it". you know?

Doesnt matter, when im in a rush sometimes and I start to switch lanes and whatnot, I sometimes get people behind me that i guess want to follow and whatever thats cool, sometimes i find it fun at certain times of the day to play around a bit when its not as congested...if you guys see me give a nice wave to a friendly guy, not some stuck-up prick in what he thinks is the fastest car in the world.
no biggie.

for example the other night i was driving and i see an A4 2.0t (they are quick!) and there is no traffic so we both didnt race but went fast (not redline racing or anything, just messing around) and instead of creating a competitive atmosphere between the different brands i was just like, "sweet ride, looks good" gave a thumbs up and that was it. made another friend on the street instead of an enemy.

Yea I do that too sometimes just to sit back and watch those beasts do their thing. But it ALWAYS has to be them who starts it first becuase then its cool and they know that their car is faster and just want to play around, but if I were to try to play with them....I would just feel TOTALLY stupid or like a dumb ricer, becuase their cars are obviously far supirior to mine and it would just look dumb. It would be like us sitting in our e9x's and some geo metro coming next to us wanting to play around..... So thats the same feeling the guys in the LP640's, Vanquish's, 599's, F430's, and all the other exotics must feel like if I were to do such a thing.

I usually always give the other person a thumbs up and smile, or if i have a chance i'll say something like "that thing is pretty nice man!"

Like i remember back when I had my E46, some guy in an E36 M3 was behind me and we were both charging it up a hill and came to a light and I was laughing and yelled out the window and said "you'll smoke me!!! Hhaha" He laughed real hard too and just nodded his head.

Or on the toll road, some guy in an A4 3.2 was driving along with me and my V1 went off so i slowed the hell down and he passed me, and sure enough, there was a cop further down the road. I drove next to him on the toll road and showed him my V1 and laughed and said (well I should say yelled, not said, becuase we were on a freeway) "you really should get one of these man!"
