Yet you then proceed to disparage the choice of Dune Grey by descibing it as a care home colour. Last edited by blackpear; 10-12-2024 at 12:47 PM.. |

I agree it would be boring, but some colours are just that. Let’s face it, BMW is hardly known for its X3 colour palette, and I wished BMW would option Skyscraper on an M50, rather than limiting it to the 30. I suspect a lot of people jumped on Dune simply because it was a new colour, and was used by BMW at M50 launch. However, Vegas/Fire red seems to be the colour BMW is now favouring for the M50 review cars. Last edited by avi66; 10-12-2024 at 05:00 PM.. |

Car is really nice! But no way it’s worth $1k/month lease, when you can lease an IX for $699 also with $6K down, and that’s without even tying to get a better deal.
Heck I’d much rather have a Polestar 3 also around the $700 lease mark. When the heck did $1k leases become normal on non M cars… maybe OP just had to pay the “first on my block” tax Last edited by Ramos; 10-12-2024 at 03:30 PM.. |

We're back in a time where these cars can be afforded by those who are well off financially and not the average joe being able to afford a BMW because of either high residual, low interest, OEM support or all of the above. |

Check out leasehacker forum or a broker. Ix 50 can be done easily 600-700 with 0 down payment. People need to be educated how lease payments calculated and stop overpaying dealers. Never put any down payment on a lease! X3 m40i was around 5-600 with 0 down or even lower and I expect m50 would be something similar. Of course dealer will charge you a premium if you want the car at launch, but by the end of this year we will know better. Last edited by Bigface; 10-12-2024 at 04:05 PM.. |

You can buy a $100k M3 with zero down and finance over 72 for much less than what you’re claiming a lease costs! After 3 years, you can sell it for $70k Whereas if you lease for $2k per month you’d be out $72k after 3 years. The numbers you list make zero sense, again unless you’re being shafted Last edited by Ramos; 10-12-2024 at 04:13 PM.. |

Agreed. Avi66 goes on my sh1t list. The guy first says color doesn’t matter. But then goes on to insult others, so apparently it does matter. That’s called speaking out both sides of your mouth.

It’s like saying the G45 interior door handles are crap and criticising the poor material because I don’t like it, and you claim I’m insulting others. |

The average consumer does not want to deal with financing and then having to worry about privately selling or “trading” it in at a dealer and deal with the games of trade-in values. I don’t need to learn to shop, I work within a dealer group and get cars at cost so I know what the minimum monthly payment one can expect with no down payment and at cost/MSRP. Buying cars today is expensive whether it’s a lease or finance - no one wants to deal with $1,000+ monthly payments. Last edited by TheBingoBalls; 10-12-2024 at 05:49 PM.. |

But since you asked for opinions, here’s mine. I’m not a fan of gray paint on a car. It just doesn’t do much for me. That said, if the discount is enough, I can easily learn to love gray. :-) Plus, it could be considered a stealthy color, if that’s important to you. I prefer metallic gray to nonmetallic. I like white.

Congrats! It just won’t feel special after 6 months and you’ll be stuck with your insanely exaggerated lease payment for 3 years.

I'm amazed at the snarky and overall mean tone through much of the G45 X3 sub. But I am also disappointed that the new X3's don't inspire me to want to buy one -- I'm coming off a loaded 2018 G01 and I found a lot to like with that car.

Both cars have B58 our 2022 X3 M40 pops when you can hear the whistles from the turbo, the differences are the B58 was updated for the new generation X3.
We were thinking about trading in and getting one loaded out I think right around $73K but we decided no and we’re gonna wait for the X5 new class. |
