That mustache and the interior have been two of my biggest issues with the M50. In my humble opinion, that "jewel box" is a hideous visual distraction and should have been covered. The interior leaves me wondering what demographic this car was designed for.

Well, it makes a lot of sense. It will be interesting to see how they play it. It could be a hybrid, or fully electric

I was at the media launch for the Macan EV, both the Macan 4 and Macan Turbo were present

There is no timeline on the GTS, but the Turbo is super quick… I was able to spend time on track with it, and man for a 5400 pound rig it’s very well sorted and moves out like there is no tomorrow

I think it’s a combination of both, but yeah, it might be simply the launch date that is holding that particular model.

But for an example, there are many 25 M2’s that are not being shipped until newer software is available.

You mention you did a short trade and made 7% and are telling us to relax, I'm going to just leave three screenshots of the window you bought at, the current one month delta, and also BMW AG's six month price delta.

You really make me shake my head at folks that just short trade and talk shit about a company's success by judging it based off of short sale you made.

I don’t mind the rear but I wish it wasn’t so flat on the sides. There are like no lines that give it character. Just flat. And the side profile is extremely mundane.

If I do get this vehicle it will be in black. I usually prefer black anyway, but it definitely hides the ugly. I commonly see black Range Rover Velar’s in my area. I think the X3 somewhat resembles that.

OP didn’t include it but there is a picture of the black X3 from a ground POV. At first glance I thought it was an XM.

Did I said BMW current stock price is a success??? Almost all German Auto maker need to transform their business model in coming years. What I share is i did a bet on BMW for few days because of so many attention on the new X3

"Attention" usually means business opportunity!

I am also in technology field and running acquisition projects as day job.

This is the worst part of all modern BMW designs to me, even more so the grille. The lack of flame surfacing and hard lines just makes every car look so soft, fat, and droopy - the G8x is the worst offender IMO but none of the current models are much better.

That actually is sort of the direction they've been going..... When the G20 3 series came out people complained that the entire button panel near the shifter moved since they made it one giant plastic piece, instead of seperate buttons. And it did feel weird at first, but everyone did get used to it and no one says anything now.

To be fair, I think what helped your trade is the rate cut from China and their monetary stimulus policy and not necessarily the X3 "hype". Many European car manufacturer share prices up in the past few days...Porsche, Volkswagen AG, MB Group AG etc...

I’m sure it works well. I just personally don’t like it enough to pay what they’re asking for it. The emotions it stirs are either neutral or negative for me. Not a winning formula for a luxury product.
