All of the adults and professionals I talk to seem to think that when planning to go to grad school, undergrad really doesnt matter much at all. Plus I sort of gave up on those higher tier schools after being rejected from NW. |

Going to practice law ? That's great. I suggest going anywhere in the world except where I live. How about staying in Florida, that state could really use a few more lawyers.

![]() In Florida; there are more people in Law School than there are lawyers and there is already far too many lawyers. Calculate the future based off that, my friend just finished FSU law and said good luck in finding a job.

Well Im definitely going to do civil law. And what my dad does is very interesting and his law firm has many many practice areas. Maybe he'll expand to LA again and i'll run that office a few years down the line.

my general college advice...
If you plan on grad school: go to a state school, get a 4.0, enjoy the partying and hot girls, kill your entrance exams If you don't want to do grad school: go to the hardest school you get into, buckle down for four years, party if/when possible, hopefully land a high paying job afterwards

I just got accepted to three diff schools so far
University of Arizona, University of Missouri, and Baylor University (Private School) Thoughts on which one is better? There will be more coming, but Baylor was my top choice and hardest to get into, except the tuition sucks.

University of Arkansas, Hendrix College, Arkansas State University, and Rhodes College
They all have their pro's and con's. Hendrix is really personal, but Conway, AR isn't the most exciting town in the world. Rhodes hasn't sent out acceptance letters yet but it is in Memphis, which would be fun. It's also the most expensive and least likely to give money. ASU has given me a full ride and then some, with other scholarships I have I'd be making at least a few grand a year there, but part of me wants to leave Jonesboro. U of A would be fun, but its really impersonal and the drive is terrible. I'm pretty stuck haha ![]() |

FSU. Stay in state and save the money, you'll be happy you did later. Plus, FSU has a ton of smoking hot chicks that are "easy to talk to." Don't have a girlfriend. Work really hard your first semester and get your starting GPA in the 3.8-4.0 range. This will allow you to relax for the rest of your time there all while maintaining a respectable GPA.
