yeah, bro. they're so regional that they're global - now marketed to foreign investors paying cash. LOL.

here's the more realistic look:

So to sum up...

OP, 19 years old, can do some illegal mods to game boxes, bought a E92 335i, got smoked by some other spoiled SoCal brat, and ran to Dady crying Daddy Daddy Daddy, I need a new car. I can afford it because I live here with you so you don't feel guilty for divorcing Mommy.

This is comedy, but reminds me I'm doing something with my life.

20 years old, support a family of 4 solely off my income, and financing my e92 with my credit. Hopefully my parents can get back on their feet and by that time I'll have my own house.

Not all of us youngsters are misguided.

Wait! How comes the GTR can go 196 mph when I always understood our bimmers were electronically limited at 155 mph due to international agreement?

WTF?

What, is Nissan not a team player or is BMW full of shit?

Here are a few of the last pictures i took for memories.

If all goes well i will be more than likely picking up a Red GTR tomorrow.
Pics will be up as soon as i get it I have never been in one, i won't be able to sleep tonight

Being a year older than you, enjoy being 19. It feels horrible when you wake up on your 20th birthday.

About the GT-R, i understand your decision to buy it but i wouldn't do it myself. I could have had one when i was 19 without a loan (investment gains from 2009, long story) but it is much better to invest that money and in a few years, have that Alfa 4C (or GT-R or whatever) plus plenty of money left over.

You only live once but you have a lot of years to live.

The 155 mph or 250 km/h limit is a German thing to prevent madmen on the autobahn, although Porsche seems to be exempt from this agreement. The tire speed rating also has something do with it. Japanese used to have a 276 hp limit, and that ended around 2005.

Nice. Most ex-335i owners opt for the stage 1 upgrade (M3). You went straight to stage 2 (GTR).

Enjoy your new ride!

I bought some fun cool stuff when I was young too. My only advice would expedite your payoff, and build your own credit, you will need it eventually.

I don't think it was mandatory. I think most car makers opted in, and Porsche decided to be the rebel.
