I read it. You tell me to read sth I had already read. I tell you it is misleading. You tried to help with your list, thank you for that. For people like me, and the guys here, it would (have) help(ed) to have a decent definition of what the item is or isn't.

Why should I buy half the quantity for double the price :confused0068:?

super annoying I can't post pictures ! even with 80% resized
What did it cost to install if you don’t mind me asking? Dealer quoted 4 hours of labor to remove the front bumper to install.

Why should it be removed when the BMW front lip is attached to the bumper at existing mounting points with screws and plastic rivests from below.

Correct. Same goes for the rear diffuser install. I’ve done both, super easy.

Yes, it's fine also for the M50. The only difference between the key fobs is the color.

Rest of bumper parts arrived. Here is how they look. The carbon fiber bit is marked as aramid in the packaging. They require two types of fasteners, but adhesive is included. Removing the rear bumper is of course the most difficult part.

Is the m performance bumper trim different from what comes on the m50? I can’t find actual pictures of it anywhere.

I had the M Performance bumper pieces installed. The front came with plastic washers, but I completely forgot their existance. The shop stacked a fistful of metal washers the make it sit right.
The rear involved removing the old bumper bottom and reattaching parking sensors. They didn't want to detach the reversing light so there is a hole in the middle. I tried it home and after a lot of work made them separate. I'll contact the shop to have it installed as well.

As written a few postings above you can get the adhesive as a spare: 63215A5B468

I realy like the front lip but imho the rear diffusor is not worth the hassle and cost. Also the seperate stick on sidepieces with the seam to the rear diffusor make it look a bit cheap.

to be fair the front is also a 3 piece setup tho. at least the rear you dont need to pay for 3 parts
