dosmildos wroteYou would hope they do!Hard to say but when we picked ours, and it had been built a few days before, it came with the latest software. Hopefully they all leave Spartanburg with the latest.

I always insist they install the latest software prior handover at the dealership.
Everything just works fine.
Ravenous666 wroteInstalled today too and so far haven’t noticed anything.I installed 03/2026.54 today and only change I noticed that the font on the central display is back to the bold look of the M50.
Everything just works fine.
OzzieJeff wroteSame here ... Took delivery 2.5 weeks ago and still on 11/2025.34. Glad to know i'm not the only one. I've heard 03/2026.54 fixes the A/C Sync bug. Sync hasn't been staying on from drive to drive for me.Took delivery 2 1/2 weeks ago and still stuck on 11/2025.34, have already done the soft iDrive reset via holding down the volume until the screen cycles, and also the one where you hold on to the button for over 70 seconds until the display cycle 3 times and still doesn't have the option to upgrade, have constantly tried checking via app then on the display itself while driving.
DoubleBB wroteI took it for a long drive over the weekend (400 miles each way) in hoping the car was on long enough to pickup the update, checking in the car and on the app to see if the update will magically pop up but it didn't. Ah well. I haven't experience any major bugs or deal breaker yet so I may just have to wait till I need to take it in for it's 1st service.OzzieJeff wroteSame here ... kukugege wroteWith none of the bugs I have had for 18 months fixed. Crazy how it seems nothing actually gets fixed.Just a basic bug fix update
Sigh...
Ravenous666 wroteI noticed this on the fixed icon row, esp. in the temperature numeric indicators, as well as the clock at the top right of the control display. I also think the fixed icons at the bottom of the display have been slightly changed.I installed 03/2026.54 today and only change I noticed that the font on the central display is back to the bold look of the M50.

But I'm not sure what you mean by the "bold look of the M50." That's what I have so are you saying it's back to something that had been removed in a previous update?
I'm also wondering if the update included the steering system fix -- and BMW doesn't want to say.
Darkepi wroteMine was only disabled on the first drive after the update applied. I turned it on and it's remained on since.I just updated to 03/2026.54 and noticed that AUTO Hold is not being kept every drive. Is someone facing same issue?
grumpychocobo wroteConfirmed. A few other settings had to be set back to preferred. I thought the update process was klunky, not smooth.Darkepi wroteMine was only disabled on the first drive after the update applied. Ravenous666 wroteVehicle was built on 5-20 and has the latest software installed.Usually the factory will not install the latest version. That's up to the dealership prior delivery. Especially when the car is shipped overseas to Europe, there might be a timeframe of up to 8 weeks between build date and handover.

pgw85706 wroteWe did our last update on the X3 yesterday. Somewhat clunky but everything came back on the way home so no big deal. Today we updated the nav on our 2019 Ford F150. That was significantly more clunky and needed a thumb drive. Makes me appreciate the BMW. I am reminded how much more the X3 cost. Truthfully, the tanzanite paint and the huge display drew me like a magnet. Updates are required for hands free and self park options.grumpychocobo wroteConfirmed.
