I just want to mash the pedal and drive. The bolt-on software is extraneous and in-the-way, and probably outsourced to be coded in a 3rd world place.
Fillup19 wroteI dont believe its an iOS issue unless there's a specific compatibility w/ iDrive9. I dont have this issue in the M3 (iDrive8.5). I have a 16 Pro Max.Could be an iPhone ios issue. Did you update to the latest ios version 26.4.1 just before this issue started?
Do both of you having this issue have the same iPhone model? Have you done a hard reboot on your iphone to see if that makes a difference?

I successfully updated it.Did you follow the 3 stage installation process? Or perhaps the installation step was delayed because you have a specific time set for vehicle to initiate herbal installation step.
Must be connected by both WiFi & Bluetooth Follow ID9 vehicle instructions carefully.
Step 1- DOWNLOAD update to phone through MyBMW App while connected to WiFi
Step 2-“TRANSFERRING”/DOWNLOAD from MyBMW app to vehicle “DRIVING IS REQUIRED” PREPARATION- AFTER TRANSFER IS COMPLETE AUTOMATICALLY VEHICLE GOES INTO “PREPARATION” FOR A FEW MINUTES IT’S OK TO BE DRIVING.
Step 3- “INSTALLATION” “VEHICLE MUST BE OFF & PARKED WITH ALL DOORS, WINDOWS & SUNROOF CLOSED. [ALSO, Starter Battery Must be Fully Charged] Takes about 20 minutes & can’t be driven until completed. Notice on phone will advise when completed
