Audi 2nd quarter 2025 sales seems to be down 19% in total by figures published by Audi. The X3s competing Q5 sales are even down by 29%.
So I think in general X3 sales do fairly well in a currently volatile market.

When did the refreshed Q5 come out (because 2 different models coming out in the same year is never confusing)?

BroDoze wroteFrom years of snow driving the heavier the vehicle, while you would think getting stuck is less likley (Might agree on GC), you can toss a lighter vehicle around easier. Stopping distance will be much better on the lighter vehicle also. I actually think the X3 would perform better.Silly question. Is the X5 a more capable snow vehicle than the X3? Let’s assume all else being equal, with the same brand of all season tires. There should be more sidewall and ground clearance on the X5, right?

Recently sold my G01.. and I do miss it a little but I just think these things are objectivity so ugly not sure I could get back into one.

I just don’t get that one keeps sharing an objective view that she/he doesn’t like the design of a car. If you don’t like it, just move on.
Do you go around and yell you’re not attracted to a gal or guy?
I get the reasoning behind quality, performance, comfort etc… But style. Why would anyone care what you like or not? Move on and find another car you like.

I don't understand what "objective" means here in the first place. Is it an objective fact that style requires scalloped molded steel doors and a sloping hood? It always comes back to "well a lot of people don't like it" but that is subjective!

Sales rep here in LA, X3 sales are going alright, but our dealership probably won’t hit the target for this model by year’s end. A lot of SUV shoppers are now leaning toward the X5, and from what I’ve seen, many still prefer that classic BMW look. The new design is a bit polarizing...some love the modern touches, but others feel it’s straying too far from the brand’s traditional styling.

TLEHMANN wroteMy interior looks like this. My G01 had the Luxury interior — all leather everywhere — but looking back at my pictures, it feels like with this G45 interior BMW has jumped not just one but two generations. It’s much more modern, much newer, and even though they messed up the armrest with plastic, that’s still my opinion. After the G45, the G01 interior feels very old-fashioned.Recently sold my G01.. and I do miss it a little but I just think these things are objectivity so ugly not sure I could get back into one.

Well, that “classic look” of the X5 is soon to be replaced by the Neue Klasse look. Which I feel is a more radical design departure than the current X3 G45.

After 15 years of owning BMW cars, I was really looking forward to the new X3, expecting it to be my next one. But when it was finally released, I was shocked by how disappointing the exterior design was and how cheap the interior materials felt. After months of thinking it over, I’ve decided to move on. My final choice is between the Mercedes GLC and the Audi Q5 — and the decision has now been made.

Recently went from a week with a new M50 to new Nissan Duke back to back….. Managed to check all the features I had questions over.
