Did anyone with an order get a discount? I just saw a broker is advertising 4.5% off on the iX3.
I did not. My dealer has agreed to MSRP no mark up. Which broker?
How long did it take for everyone to get the email to pay the deposit? I built my car out 6 days ago at the dealership but have yet to receive an email from BMW to pay the $1000.

Couple hours
I have not discussed payment yet, but assume I will have to pay MSRP minus and corporate discounts that are always there like the military discount and BMW frequent buyer discount.

With regards to the email on the deposit...I too got my email for deposit within a couple hours. I was working with someone at BMW and they took care of it. You may want to reach out to your salesperson to better understand what is going on.
I waited a few days to throw in for a reservation (evening of may 11th). Dealer texted me the next day to confirm and answer any questions and after he put it in the system it took about an hour to get the payment email.

Not 100% certain I’m going to move forward, but we’ll see.
Reached out to my dealer. Gotta be something with my email blocking it or something. Giving them an alternate email, hopefully that does the trick.
one of my sales persons today when I stopped by the Bmw dealer told me that 80% of the allocated vehicles or something like that have already been ordered or taken something like that. I was in a hurry leaving and he had mentioned so I guess like out of 100% of the vehicles coming to the United States 80% of them I’m already been allocated for bought by customers.

He’s probably referring to their own early allocation being mostly spoken for. It’s highly unlikely BMW has allocated 80% of the national supply.

I will double check what they were trying to say

So someone just called me and I said can you kind of straighten it up and they said and she was reading from a text 85% of the allocations have already been whatever accounted for and she was not saying national or dealership she would find out further but 85% of the 2026 production are basically already that percentage accounted for allocated whatever hopefully she’ll send it to me where it’s written down I can get a better grasp on it
Well I'm glad I submitted my deposit today just in case

Nice!! What town originally? Absolutely not, too much salt on the roads for that. I would need to go through the car wash daily in the winter. lol I'm actually in Virginia Beach.
My sales rep told me that they had allocated 4,000 vehicles to the US market. I think they're just testing the waters.

They did something similar in Europe and way under forecasted the demand. Allocating 4k units to the US seems really low, but they won't be arriving until September/October so maybe? Still, they've had 50k orders in Europe in this short time, so it seems like a surprising low number. Once SLP is manufacturing in Mexico, Hungary won't have to split between European and US market vehicles.
My dealer just reached out and asked me to verify my build because the car would be going into production soon. It probably just means they got an allocation and will be submitting it.

This is how my dealer said they were handling it as well. I paid my deposit within the hour of building the day the configurator opened for orders, SA said they'd reach out to finalize the build with me before production starts. Also learned last week that I'm 28th on the list at my dealer, which was kind of a surprise with the number of dealerships within 50 miles. But I guess it's Southern California, BMWs and EVs are a dime a dozen out here.

All said, while the iX3 is my top choice, lease rates may be too rich for my blood as an early adopter. Using Tesla's MYP as a barometer at $799 with about $10k more in msrp for the iX3, back of the napkin math takes the monthly lease payment to ~$1,100. Don't think I'm willing to pay that amount.

Yup…I’ve mostly crossed the ix3 off my list for that reason. Sticker price is about what I expected but preliminary lease rates are not competitive. I don’t want to pay cash for what will likely become a depreciation nightmare….so lease rates will drive my decision.

When you initially configured the vehicle, did they not ask you to confirm and send you a build sheet? I got a build sheet with the option codes I selected, I confirmed the order with them, and then got an invoice for the $1k deposit.

They did, but according to the SA, they wanted to verify before submitting the final order. I actually added the badge delete.
