VincentHannah wroteIs that via the phone (0800 325 600) or the BMW App?Genius don't even need your vin, just your order number and colour of the car.
They hide it away slightly.
VincentHannah wroteThanks, I’ll try them tomorrow. The BMW live chat on their website.

Brookertron wroteMany thanks. Will try thatSalmonfisher wroteIn the UK the MyBMW tracking is rubbish.I've just heard that my early Feb order has come forward again to 22 June. If true I'm over the moon. I now have the VIN number does that enable me to track progress on line and if so how?
Go to BMW contact page and open online chat with a Genius. Give them your VIN and they can track it
I think if mine has moved back to 2027 I’m going to test drive them all and see what I like the most. If I have to wait it will be for the right one. Nothing wrong with my current motor I can just keep that or get something completely different maybe.
Salmonfisher wroteThat would mean a lot going in your favour.Tried as suggestedd and it worked fine on VIN - for some reaason my salesperson doesn't have access to BMW order number as they have their own number system. Its at 150 and due in body shop on Monday (1 June). Is 22 June realistic? 3 weeks to build and deliver to UK sounds optimistic but my dealer assures me it will be with them on 22nd. Now I'm getting really excited esspecially as I was originally quoted late August/Sept.
I think it's possible but I'd think 1 week later is a safer estimate.
Also there are now a further 10 individual colours.
And Motorway Assistant now available.
Rhino at Work wroteAs well as optional rear seat heating, and Motorway Assistant at £950 for 4 years.I see the 40 is now up on the UK configurator.

Car went into production yesterday with delivery late June....
Fingers crossed it doesn’t go backwards and gets a fixed slot soon!
Gooday99 wroteGreat news, what spec have you gone for?I ordered through Salary Sacrifice in Mid November with delivery estimated as July 26.

Tickler wroteI ordered mine on 8th March and have been told to expect delivery around 20th July. I notice you’re in Liverpool, did you order from Williams?Hi all, just thought it might be worth a thread on UK delivery timescales.
I placed my order for the iX3 50 on 23rd March and apparently it’s still not even had a build slot allocated, 2 months later…
The dealer today told me the 40’s were coming through more quickly than the 50’s but I think that’s probably a loads of BS considering that you can’t even spec a 40 on the configurator yet…!
How are others getting on?
StephenR wroteWow, that's quick 🤞I ordered mine on 8th March and have been told to expect delivery around 20th July. I notice you’re in Liverpool, did you order from Williams?
Salmonfisher wroteDealers get reservationsIt does seem that orders direct from dealers are much quicker than leases/salary sacrifice cars
As said above, it’s a bit of a lottery at present!
