Salmonfisher wroteNo I had it as blue, see pics from the nightGood to hear from you. Glad yours turned up on time. As a matter of interest did you realise the demo car was Eucalyptus Green as I assumed it was Polarised Grey on the night and only found out the following week.
Salmonfisher wroteYes, I’d swear it was blue despite what they said. Nevertheless I picked up mine today from Salisbury in blue with the “risky” digital white interior, white steering wheel and 22” wheels - the launch spec!It reall looks blue in your second photo. However i popped back a week later and asked if there was any chance the would have an Eucalyptus one in to see and they said the one on the night was Eucalyptus but even they didn't realise until it was outside the next day. My photo from same night makes it look grey. its amazing how the colurs change
Seriously though, it looks amazing and the ride is surprisingly good.
I’m having doubts and wondering whether to cancel my order and personally lease a 2 series coupe.
SpaceSilverIX3 wroteI’m in a similar situation. Ordered in April and promised a July-September delivery. Current delivery date to dealer is the end of October, but a production date of end of February 2027, (which would mean delivery in May next year). No one seems to know what’s happening, it’s a shambles. I’ve been looking at switching to either the Volvo EX60 or the Mercedes GLC 400, at least they’re noted for having better suspension and cabin noise.I put my order in mid May and haven’t been allocated a production slot. Will need to go back to Ayvens and Sytner to see what the issue is (likely the order book is full).

You'll be waiting longer for an Ex60 if you want the same range
Salmonfisher wroteI made the point that the order system on the iX3 is a shambles because I’m being quoted a delivery date months before the quoted production date!Surely by May every dealer was quoting 2027. If yours didn't sounds like they were telling porkies.

I'm therefore assuming it may be ready the following week!? My salesman is away until Wed, so will get an update then.
Originally I placed my order in March and was told Sept. Then it moved to June and it's looking spot on.
Strangely as this is my first EV, I'm a little apprehensive, rather than getting too excited. Is that weird?
PX3 wroteI was the same when I got my iX1.I spoke to the BMW online chat team today and apparently mine is currently in storage and should be with my dealer next week.

No regrets though

robe033 wroteYes, my hope is that once I've got it and settled in to the way of EV life, there will be no looking back.PX3 wroteI was the same when I got my iX1.I spoke to the BMW online chat team today and apparently mine is currently in storage and should be with my dealer next week.

I just have these random moments of, have I done the right thing etc.
FWIW I would never go back to a petrol or diesel car
zilla91 wroteThat's the exact attitude I'm hoping to have after getting the IX3 👍Been full EV for the last 4 years, I’ve never had any issues doing local, cross country and European journeys.

Otherwise I'll be back on here and blaming you
