dZine wroteIn what way? We were allowed to test the car however we wanted on these tracks. I pushed the car to the limit and beyond. Even going off track to see how much I can push the physics.Sounds promising, even though it was a carefully curated experience by BMW.
Marcon71 wroteBMW has all three, why not excel at them all? There is still a massive market for BEVI get the concept and tech however I'm not sure if this the right strategy for BMW in doubling down on EVs right now. With all the turbulence in the world I dont believe we are ready for a complete EV shift. In my opinion hybrids would have been better.
Marcon71 wroteEVs aren’t going away. Yes there’s lots of turbulence but EVs are still the future. They’re better than ICE in every way.I get the concept and tech however I'm not sure if this the right strategy for BMW in doubling down on EVs right now. LuisBoston wroteThis is an absurd take. Tell me how well an EV does range-wise driving in -35 weather, which isn’t uncommon in parts of the US. Or how well EVs do when towing. “Dead in 10 years” is laughable, ICE will absolutely still have a place in 10 years.EVs aren’t going away. Yes there’s lots of turbulence but EVs are still the future. They’re better than ICE in every way.
Continuing to spend money investing in ICE and complicated PHEVs is what’s wasteful. ICE will be dead in 10 years. Bookmark this if you want. I’ll eat my words.

Eric500 wroteI thought it was a 3 series wagon at first because of the height.what's the size of this compared to the X3? It sits kind of low for an SUV
LuisBoston wroteAbout 10 years ago they were pushing us on heating our homes with Natural Gas and ditching your electrical heaters as they were in efficient yet here we are. Time will tell however the infrastructure involved to build out electrical charging stations and the demands on grids today is astronomical. I'm betting on H20!EVs aren’t going away. Yes there’s lots of turbulence but EVs are still the future. They’re better than ICE in every way.

Marcon71 wroteThese decisions were made years ago, can't just undo them easily.I get the concept and tech however I'm not sure if this the right strategy for BMW in doubling down on EVs right now. Marcon71 wroteBMW already has some good hybrids. I have a PHEV. We need to continue to advance the BEV concept forward.I get the concept and tech however I'm not sure if this the right strategy for BMW in doubling down on EVs right now. Bimmerfun82 wroteLiving with street parking and no home charger, I don’t count the X5 50e (I’m in an X5 40) as a ‘hybrid’ since I would have to plug it in to recharge/doesn’t recharge like a Toyota..:that’s just me.BMW has all three, why not excel at them all? There is still a massive market for BEV
