What is your most favourite X3 colour, keen to hear everyone's thoughts. Would you go the colour that is most heavily promoted such as Dune Grey, your own speciality colour, or perhaps a traditional White or Black?

Tanzanite Blue or one of the Greens from the individual selection.

Also Dark Graphite looks very good on the G45

Depends a bit on how the rest of the car is spec'd and how it's used. In the right build, the boxy body and bull nose hood has a striking look. It was a big change but IMO the older body style is going to have the delicate moon buggy look by comparison within a year or two. It's not worse or better but it's a different feel.

Tanzanite blue and vegas red work with every build I've seen. The frozen colors are also incredible.

Dune grey and brooklyn grey look amazing in M sport trim with blacked-out grill and black wheels, especially with tinted front windows. The all black-and-tan/black-and-grey is sharp. Blacking out the badges is a big plus here.

The only one I saw that made me say hm maybe I should've gotten that, was the deep sea green. With the mocha leather or beige leather interior it's a stunning car.

Tanzanite Blue all the way! I never get tired of looking at my car. The color adds so much delight to even simple mundane moments like walking back out to the car from the grocery store, when you see the sparkle from the sunlight reflecting that rich blue at just the right angle...

Brooklyn Grey has been beaten to death on the G01 LCI and 3 series so this is the color I would totally avoid on new X3.

Dune Grey for me is like dirty chalk. Easy to maintain as dust and pollen are not that visible on it. So if you hate washing your car ofte, Dune Grey is the perfect color.

Like a lot my Artic Race Blue metallic. The other one I like is Tanzanite.

In my personal, subjective opinion, anything outside the boring range of black/grey/siliver/white > anything within. Anything. Your eyes don't just have retinal rods...there are also cones.

Not every red is a beautiful red, but Fire red (or Vegas in US) is just that. So I put my money here.
Having said that Tanzanite would be on top of my list if not coming from blue car right now. That colour is simply… special.

I love my Tanzanite Blue. Historically, I’ve always gone with black, white, or gray. This is the first car I’ve bought with actual color. And I love it. The metallic flake looks amazing in the sun. Part of the reason I decided to try something different is that the majority of local inventory was all white, black, and gray.

I love dark mettalic gray on this x3. correct me if im wrong, but carbon black isnt offered (which is a shame)

Yup I have Arctic Race Blue. I don’t like it on the 3 series sedan, but I love it on the X3. I purposely did not get the M-Sport trim because I like the contrast of the chrome grill and window edging. Contrast is good. Originally I was going to get alpine white, but almost every BMW I see on the road is alpine white.

Red - nope!
Any Green- yeah but it will be hard to find in a field!
Black - ?!?! waste of water
White- I have couple fridges at home
Dune - Wife says no so I don’t have to make excuse for this one

Brooklyn Gray- poor man’s choice… it looks like you didn’t have money to pay for paint! But thats what I ordered I think it’s very nice contrast with m pro pack. Easy to keep it clean…

IMHO,
Dark colors are good with Xline.
Lighter colors are good with M designs
But at the end all look’s good.

Followed by black with the M sport package
Followed by every other color w M sport package
Followed by other combos

Arctic Race Blue for me...

If anything from black to white with grey in the middle was on top before colors, that ranking would have to be forced around here!
