These vehicles were manufactured between December 18, 2025, and May 8, 2026. However, there is some confusion regarding the exact number of affected vehicles. When asked by auto motor und sport, a BMW spokesperson cited a figure of 2,913 affected vehicles but did not clarify whether this was an international or German figure. Another recall of the BMW iX3 : Just days after the electric SUV was recalled due to a risk of electric shock, the next recall is already underway. This time it concerns incorrectly installed airbags. "The side airbags were not screwed in according to specifications, which means that in the event of an airbag deployment due to an accident, the airbag could deploy incorrectly or the gas generator could move out of position and hit the occupants,"

When I was waiting for mine it was so frustrating when car was stuck on quality check not knowing why.
Then when I got it and realised some some functions were missing.
BMW are not the best providing updates
