Vegas Red
I recently visited the Zentrum museum, which is a small museum at the BMW Spartanburg factory. In one section, they exhibit every model they currently manufacture at the factory, and for the X3 model, they displayed a Vegas Red X3 M50. They could have picked any color, and they picked that color. It looked nice.

We got Vegas Red because my wife likes it.
It’s her car and I also think it looks great. I have now seen the Artic Blue and it is stunning. I thought I didn’t like the dune gray but it’s been growing on me, I now think it looks good. I like the greens too. And the whites. What I think is happening is that I now got used to the lines of the car and I can appreciate the colors better . I hope the interior (Merino leather that looks brown, though it’s called some sort of Amber Gray helps) also grows on me but it’s going to have to grow some functional buttons. After driving the G45 and I get back in my Space Gray 550 (has buttons for everything), I am so much at ease knowing just about everything about it. We are aging well together and don’t want to give up that feeling even though most everyone predicts the engine will blow up at any moment (~84,000 so far). I think the G45 colors are very very nice.

Yup I have Arctic Race Blue. I don’t like it on the 3 series sedan, but I love it on the X3. I purposely did not get the M-Sport trim because I like the contrast of the chrome grill and window edging. Contrast is good. Originally I was going to get alpine white, but almost every BMW I see on the road is alpine white.
Totally agree. I got the M-Sport trim on my M240i, but for the X3 I was going for a more "classy" look. Arctic Race Blue, standard silver trim, with the 20" staggered all seasons looks great IMHO.

Tanzanite Blue all the way! I never get tired of looking at my car. The color adds so much delight to even simple mundane moments like walking back out to the car from the grocery store, when you see the sparkle from the sunlight reflecting that rich blue at just the right angle...

I agree.

My new one should be here in a week or two, so I haven’t actually seen mine yet, but after seeing the tanzanite blue in the showroom, I think my wife would have divorced me if I chose any other color 🤣

Partial to Dune Grey. Have yet to see it on any other BMW let alone, car. Pops nicely w black accents and wheels. If it wasn’t this I probably would have went Tanzanite Blue, but the Dune called to me

Really appreciate the 906M wheels photos. Not sure I love them on Alpine White but saves a lot of grief by coming with all seasons.

They look great on your car.

Great build. M sport shadowline + black wheels, badges, and windows is so sleek with dune grey.

Indeed, but with an application of glossy clearcoat, they can recover and even be cured.

EDIT: Subtle humor updated for clarity!!

Red - nope!
Any Green- yeah but it will be hard to find in a field!
Black - ?!?! waste of water
White- I have couple fridges at home
Dune - Wife says no so I don’t have to make excuse for this one

Brooklyn Gray- poor man’s choice… it looks like you didn’t have money to pay for paint! But thats what I ordered :) I think it’s very nice contrast with m pro pack. Easy to keep it clean…

IMHO,
Dark colors are good with Xline.
Lighter colors are good with M designs
But at the end all look’s good.
I also went with Brooklyn Grey. I suppose if I had the money I might've gotten the Green but I'm not sure. Either way I really like the contrast on the Grey m50 and I've gotten many compliments on it. I really like the way the color melds into the car's curves almost like liquid. I also like that it seems to have a slight bluish tint to it.

I saw the red on a lot, it's nice but it doesn't really pop.

The Arctic Race Blue is definitely a head turner and I almost bought this before going with the Brooklyn Grey.

I got the Tanzantite Blue because it happened to be the only fully loaded M50 on the lot. That said - we really do love it.

You’re absolutely right. I just blatantly took over what the sales guy said. Was strike 2 btw; no one but the guy behind the desk knew this was a wrap, they all that it was an individual matte black. Desk guy knew because wrapper dropped it off that morning :D
Was lucky enough to catch the owner as wel. I asked him why he didn’t just order black and wrap, or order matte black: delivery time. Now he was able to get it in a month as this was already on order. Custom config had a delivery time of 6mon.

Here’s one of the few areas that were not wrapped:
